About

Casey Helen Potetz, MSOM LAc.

Casey Potetz received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at the World Medicine Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she studied under the school’s founder, Taoist Master and 64th lineage disciple, Dr. Lillian Chang Y. Hsiang.

“I knew I was going to be an acupuncturist since I was twelve years old. I was drawn to Chinese Medicine as a way to help my mom heal from fibromyalgia, a painful central nervous system disease.”

Casey went on to build and operate a successful private acupuncture practice in Ridgefield, CT, for six years, specializing in pain, injury, and chronic illness. Beyond her treatment room, she taught somatic dance and hosted more than 80 workshops each year, teaching women self-healing skills in both body and spirit.

In 2021, she founded The Self-Healing Sisterhood online membership as a way for women to heal in community from anywhere in the world. “Healing together is my love language,” Casey says. “I’ve learned that when women come together to heal, it creates a sacred bond.” The Sisterhood was born from her desire not only to stay connected to the many amazing women she met in her travels, but to deepen those relationships and create a shared path of growth.

Through this work, Casey transformed her acupuncture practice into a thriving, love-filled life for both herself and her clients, a life grounded in joy, possibility, and community.

Today, back in Honolulu, Casey carries this mission forward through healing ceremonies, events, and retreats. Blending her classical training with embodiment, meditation, and sisterhood, she creates transformative spaces where women can awaken their natural capacity to heal, open their hearts, and step fully into their radiance.

Work with Casey

“I'm always excited to connect with new people and help make the world a better place through the art of healing work. I believe our personal growth and healing journeys should be fun, which is why I have a diverse set of offerings. My world of wellness is more than sessions, it's a lifestyle, a safe space, and a loving community."
