Week 4: Toxicities and Excess

Lessons

Pantry Clean Out: Throw away foods in your pantry and refrigerator that are not serving your highest good. For every item you throw out, put a healthier option on your grocery list. Ex. Throwing away vegetable oil and adding olive oil to the grocery list. Throwing away an old bag of marshmallows and adding nuts and seeds to the list as a snack.

Tip #1: If you cannot throw items away because you live with other people (who would not be happy about it), create a separate shelf or cupboard to keep those items out of sight.

Tip #2: We typically scan the pantry from left to right. Putting healthier items on the left side increases the chances it will be eaten first.
